Refund policy
Returns/Exchanges on TCG, CCG, or other card game products:
In short, big nope. We will (almost) never take back any sealed card game product or singles.
If you open any Wizards of the Coast product and find it to be defective or damaged, you will need to contact Wizards support here. We are unable to replace or refund opened Wizards of the Coast products including, but not limited to, booster packs, sealed decks, and booster displays. If you received a defective or damaged product from any other manufacturer, please contact us at sales@mothershipatx.com or give us a call at 512-291-7399 to investigate the issue.
If we got something wrong in your order and you didn't get the right thing you ordered, please contact us immediately at sales@mothershipatx.com or call the store. We'll fix it!
Other than that, we won't take back any card game products.
Returns/Exchanges on other products:
We accept returns/exchanges on non-card game products that are in their original packaging and unused/unplayed and a proof of purchase* from Mothership Books and Games within 30 days of the date of purchase.
Defective or damaged products may be eligible for return or exchange with proof of purchase and a valid problem with the product. We reserve the right to refuse returns for opened or used products at our discretion.
Several types of goods are never able to be returned or exchanged: used or as-is condition games, sale or clearance items, booster packs or boxes, and any singles.
*Proof of purchase includes receipt, email confirmation, order number, or the last four digits of the card used to purchase.
Refunds (if applicable)
Refunds will be processed only back to the original payment method. Typically, most credit cards and banks will complete a refund within 3-5 business days.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank/credit card account again in another day or so. Then, contact your bank/credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@mothershipatx.com.
Shipping
In order to process a return or exchange, you should bring your product back to the store or mail your product to: Mothership Books and Games, 2121 West Parmer Lane, Suite 119, Austin TX 78727, United States
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
